1. Where is City Hall located?

City Hall is located on the corner of Main Street and 10th Street in the Downtown Business District.

2. What are the City’s hours of operation?

Blue Springs City Hall offices are open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday, excluding most major holidays.

Some offices outside of City Hall may have varying hours of operation. Please check their individual web pages or call to verify hours of operation.

3. How can I get a Property Tax Estimate, Quote, or Tax Receipt?

You can request an estimate or quote of your property taxes by calling (816) 228-0131. Tax Estimates, Quotes or copies of Jackson County tax receipts can also be obtained by visiting the Tax Department at City Hall, 903 W Main Street. Tax receipts are $1.

If you are licensing a vehicle, the License Bureau should be able to verify your paid taxes as long as the taxes were paid by the due date of December 31, and the cost for the receipt may be waived.

4. How do I obtain a business license?

You can download a business license application from the Blue Springs’ website, complete it in full, submit it with the appropriate application fees to the City of Blue Springs, Revenue Collections Division located in City Hall.
