1. Who presents the DARE program?

The DARE curriculum is presented by a DARE trained Police Officer. There is no cost to attend the DARE program. It is available in Blue Springs and other Kansas City metro area thanks in part to funding support by the Community-based Anti-Drug Tax (COMBAT)

2. How can my child participate in the DARE program?

All fifth-grade students in the Blue Springs School District are offered the DARE program. Currently, that includes the elementary schools in the communities of Lee's Summit and Independence.
