The Blue Springs Municipal Code represents the most current regulations adopted by the City. The document is a compilation of ordinances of the City. Following adoption by the City Council, ordinances of a general and permanent nature are codified into the Municipal Code. Codification is completed twice a year.

This Code guides how the City is governed and is updated as the City grows and changes.

When there are ordinances that have been adopted, but have not yet been codified, they will be available below.

• Ordinance No. 4287 - Amending Subsection 405.030.A.7 to clarify the types of storage buildings that are not allowed as residential accessory uses
• Ordinance No. 4288 - Amending Section 380.050 to make unlawful the parking of certain vehicles or trailers on city streets
• Ordinance No. 4292-B - Amending Sections 404.010, 405.010, 405.030.B and 407.080.E and adding Section 404.175 of the Code of Ordinance to add a zoning district for Public Land and Open Space (PLOS) and provide standards for it
• Ordinance No. 4294 - Amending Chapter 630, Article III Tow Vehicles to Replace Subsections 630.320 through and including Section 630.390 and enacting new Sections 630.320 through 630.440 which includes provisions regarding police notification, non-consent tow and booting and other regulatory items
• Ordinance No. 4303 - Amending Sections 501.110.B, 501.060.L, 501.060.N, 501.080, 501.100, 501.030 Table 3, 501.110.B, 501.170.F.2 and 501.190 relating to how signs are regulated as to changeable copy signs, Electronic Reader Board (BRB) Signs, wall signs, vehicle signs, off-site signs and Master Sign Plan requirements.
• Ordinance No. 4304 - Amending Section 705.010 to set new water rates for the Fiscal Years 2010-2011, 2011-2012, and 2012-2013.
• Ordinance No. 4305 - Amending Section 705.130 to set new sewer rates for the Fiscal Years 2010-2011, 2011-2012, and 2012-2013 and to establish deposit requirements for sewer only customers.
• Ordinance No. 4311 - Amending Section 600.350.A of the Code of Ordinances, City of Blue Springs, Missouri, Creating an Exception to the Provision Requiring an Employee's Permit for the Sale of Some Alcoholic Beverages
