The Blue Springs Municipal Code represents the most current regulations adopted by the City. The document is a compilation of ordinances of the City. Following adoption by the City Council, ordinances of a general and permanent nature are codified into the Municipal Code. Codification is completed twice a year.

This Code guides how the City is governed and is updated as the City grows and changes.

When there are ordinances that have been adopted, but have not yet been codified, they will be available below. Currently all ordinances have been codified.

Ordinance #4428: Amending Sections 605.070 & 605.140 to change the penalties for occupational licenses and occupational taxes not paid for on time.

Ordinance #4429: Adding a new title, "Title VIII: Redevelopment" and a new chapter, "Chapter 800: Blue Springs Land Bank Agency," to the Code of Ordinances, City of Blue Springs, Missouri, in order to create a Blue Springs Land Bank Agency.

Ordinance #4430:  Amending the Code of Ordinances, City of Blue Springs, Missouri by adding Section 220.296 to make it unlawful to abuse a child.

Ordinance #4431:  Amending "Article 1. Taxicabs and Busses" of Chapter 630: Vehicles for hire in order to add livery vehicles and change the City agency responsible for regulating taxicabs, livery vehicles and busses.

Ordinance #4432:  Amending the Code of Ordinances, City of Blue Springs, Missouri by adding Section 220.785 to make it unlawful to sell, offer for sale, distribute, possess, ignite, fly or otherwise use aerial luminaries, commonly known as Chinese Sky Lanterns, etc.
