Overview
Centennial Pool Plex
The Parks and Recreation Department offers several aquatic activities and classes at the Centennial Pool Plex, the City’s year-round aquatic facility at 2401 NW Ashton Drive. For more information call (816) 228-0188. Centennial Pool Plex is operated by Midwest Pool Management.

The Centennial Pool Plex consists of three pools: 
  • A six-lane 25 yard indoor pool which features a shallow (3.5 ft) play area, and a diving (12 ft) area with 1 meter diving board. 
  • An eight-lane 50 meter outdoor pool which is 3.5 ft deep and features a set of high-speed water slides.
  • An outdoor wading pool which features a sloped "beach-style" entry, water-spraying toys, and "rocking" jet skis for small swimmers.

Showers, restrooms, and lockers are also provided, but be sure to bring your own lock.

In addition to all of the new amenities at the facility, pool staff works to provide you with the best in programs and customer service, as evidenced by the facility recently being named as one of the prestigious "Excellence in Aquatics" Award winners from the National Recreation and Park Association, one of five recipients nationally.
