18 shelters are located throughout the Blue Springs Park System and are available for reserved use. Any use of the public park that is out of the ordinary will require a permit at least seven calendar days prior to the event.

For a $20 fee, most shelters may be reserved for up to a five-hour period. The fee for the larger Hidden Valley, Young, and Baumgardner Park shelters is $40.

Reservation fee for non-residents is $40 for regular shelters, and $80 for large shelters.

MasterCard, Visa and Discover, are accepted in person or by phone. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance for most shelters. Call us at 816 228-0137.

Don’t forget to rent your Picnic Kit. There is an $11.50 discount for patrons who also reserve a shelter.
