The City of Blue Springs License Bureau only issues Driver’s License or Photo ID renewals.

Driver’s Licenses can be renewed at the City of Blue Springs Licenses Bureau located in City Hall during business hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 8 a.m. to noon the first and last Saturday of each month, except holiday weekends. The License Bureau and Drivers License are the only city departments that are open on Saturdays.

Driver's Licenses can be renewed as early as six months prior to expiration.

To obtain a replacement for a lost / stolen license, you will need to bring one form of identity.

The cost for obtaining a drivers permit is $3.50. The cost for renewing or obtaining other licenses varies, depending on the class of license, and ranges from $10-20 for a regular driver's license, and from $45-95 for a CDL (depending on the level of testing needed).
