Wilbur Young Park is a large, 40-acre park located in southern Blue Springs. The park is adjacent to Blue Springs South High School and is used often as part of the school's classes.

Amenities at the park include:
  • Six tennis courts, four lighted
  • Four sand volleyball courts, two lighted
  • Three softball fields, two lighted, with concessions and restroom
  • A medium-sized shelter house
  • A playground
  • One lighted basketball court
  • A small fishing pond that is stocked and maintained by the Blue Springs South High School science classes as part of ecology lessons
  • Disc Golf Course opened May 22, 2010
