Overview
- Responsible for guiding the operations and growth of the Parks and Recreation Department and act in an advisory capacity to departmental staff and the Blue Springs City Council.
- Comprised of nine members, equally representing each City Council District. Members are appointed by the Mayor with approval of the City Council on the first day of June each year to serve three-year terms.
- Established by Municipal Code Section 120.010
Meeting Schedule
Meetings of the Park Commission are held at 6:00 pm on the first Wednesday of each month in East Conference Room of City Hall.
