Be a Good Neighbor & Celebrate Smart this Independence Holiday
The Independence Day holiday is a celebration that holds many meanings for many different people. Historically, this time-honored American tradition involves time spent with family and friends, a time for sharing fond memories of loved ones, and a reflection of the many men and women who have heroically served our Country in times of battle.

This tradition also involves a very popular American pastime... fireworks. In order to make sure your family and friends have a safe Independence holiday, the City of Blue Springs is continuing the Be a Good Neighbor fireworks education campaign for the 2012 fireworks season. This campaign is designed to help build citizen awareness for fireworks safety and educate you, our community members, about City rules and regulations regarding fireworks.
