In 2010, the City Council, with input from a Citizen task force, adopted these "Guiding Principles."  These principles are what we believe to be the core values of our community.

• We are a Family oriented community.

• We desire a high level of “Livability” – a community that is user friendly, and an easy place to live.

• We desire to strive for and recognize Quality in all aspects of living and working in the City.

• We value and appreciate the importance of Innovation in problem solving and charting a future course for our community.
