Many home improvement projects are subject to community zoning and building code restrictions and do require a permit. 

Your home improvement projects may also be subject to additional subdivsion restrictions or covenants.  The City does not enforce these private agreements, but you should check to see if your project conflicts with any deed restrictions. 

Permit applications are available on line or at the City of Blue Springs City Hall Annex, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
