Pink Hill Park Recycling Center

Pink Hill Park Recycling Center is located at 2725 NW Park Rd, Blue Springs, Mo. For more information, call the Community Development Department at (816) 220-4504.

The center accepts common recyclables such as glass, plastic, aluminum, tin cans, paper and cardboard materials. 

Hours:
• Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Pink Hill Recycling Center is the first of its kind in Blue Springs.  The center was made possible due to several resident-lead strategic planning initiatives, city support and grant funding.

Paper Recycling for a Cause
ABITIBI logo
Abitibi Consolidated Recycling provides:
  • "Paper Retriever" paper recycling bins at local schools
    • Pays school for the recycled paper
  • Over 20 locations in Blue Springs

Glass Recycling
Glass food and beverage container recycling is available at Price Chopper North (1305 NW 7 Hwy., Blue Springs) in the large purple Ripple Glass recycling bin.  Go to www.rippleglasskc.com for additional recycling locations and information.  

Containers should be rinsed but labels do not need to be removed.  Glass does not need to be sorted by color.  Plate glass and dishes such as pyrex glass cannot be accepted. 
Price Chopper sells in-home glass collection recycling bins for $4.99.  This makes it easier for you to collect and transport glass containers to your preferred glass recycling collection location.

Blue Springs Recycling Services
Recycling facilities in Blue Springs are made available by private companies and accept only a limited number of materials, which may include aluminum, tin cans, and newspaper recycling, although this is subject to change without notice.
