Construction began last spring at Young Park to build an 18 hole disc golf course, with the help of a grant, funding from the Rotary Club, the Blue Springs School District construction trades classes and park staff. The facility is located on the north end of the park and features changeable disc basket locations and two tee boxes per hole. It opened this spring and hosted its first tournament May 23rd.

The disc fling and unveiling of the entry sign officially opened the Wilbur Young Park Disk Golf Course at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, at Wilbur Young Park. 

League play is every Wednesday at 6:00 pm. Cost is $5 for Ams and $7 for Pros. No need to pre-register.  Course may be closed in the event of a tournament. Click here for scheduled tournaments.
