Is your child between the ages of 13-15 but would still like to attend summer camp? Is your child looking for an opportunity to develop leadership skills while making new friends? Consider applying for our Counselor In Training program! As a CIT, your child will learn valuable skills while working alongside our camp staff and mentoring younger campers. Selected candidates assist camp staff with daily camp duties including supervising campers, prepping materials, as well as leading games and activities!
Qualified applicants will be interviewed. CITs are expected to attend at least one three week session of summer camp to fully benefit from the experience. Selected candidates will be required to attend a brief on-site orientation at camp prior to starting their session.
$80 Reservation Fee - a one time, non-refundable fee that covers the CITs summer swim pass to the Centennial Pool, T-shirt, and Field trip Fees.
$250 Session Fee - CITs are required to attend a minimum of three weeks of summer camp to participate as a Counselor in Training. CITs benefit from all aspects of the traditional camp program (field trips and transportation, care and supervision, Before and After Care, lunch when applicable) while learning valuable leadership and mentoring skills to prepare them for future employment.
