KICK-OFF Open House DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN
Where: City Hall, Room 210
Date: Tuesday, September 26th
Time: 5pm-7pm, 5:30 Presentation
The City of Blue Springs is preparing a plan for Downtown and will strengthen the function and appearance of the area. This project will:
- Ensure the downtown is supported and connected
- Understand the market demands and potential changes in land use
- Identify strategies to improve safety for those walking, biking, and driving
- Imagine aesthetic improvements to strengthen the area's image and desirability
- ... and more!
One of the first steps for the project team is to host an Open House for people to learn about purpose of the project, the schedule and process, and for you to share your ideas and concerns.
This is the first public meeting for this project and your involvement is important. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please visit the project website Downtown Master Plan to complete the survey and interactive map. Other activities will occur in the coming months to learn about the project and provide input/feedback.
