Yes, persons age 16 years and younger shall not be in or upon any public place with the City between the hours of 12:01 am and 6:00 am This does not apply if accompanied by parent or guardian or going to or from employment. The City of Blue Springs also has a daytime curfew which allows officers to question any youth between the ages of six and 17 who is found on the street or in a business, who is subject to compulsory education under the law of the State of Missouri. Daytime curfew is enforced between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm when school is in session. There are exceptions granted in this ordinance.
